Summit County, in Colorado's High Country, is best known for its four world-class ski resorts: Breckenridge, Keystone, Copper and Arapahoe Basin. Yet, there's plenty to do for non-skiers! Here are five fun ways to enjoy Summit County as a winter destination without strapping on skis or a snowboard.

1. Visit Ice Castles

Dillon is hosting a spectacular ice attraction called Ice Castles starting on December 27. The display at Dillon Town Park is made from crushed ice and lit with shimmering LED lights. This family friendly attraction is going to be a beautiful addition to Summit County fun this winter. Plus, you can enjoy it during day and nighttime.
