Summit County is a Colorado destination known for its natural beauty and ski resorts. Craft beer is another delicious reason to visit this gorgeous mountain community. Here are Everything Summit's top picks for local breweries that deserve a visit.

Silverthorne

The Bakers' Brewery in Silverthorne is slightly off the beaten path but well worth a trip. This Silverthorne restaurant and craft brewery serves lunch, dinner, craft brews and cocktails. The in-house beer selection includes session beers and some "big" beers as well as special guest taps.

Dillon

Pug Ryan's is a Dillon craft brewery and steakhouse near Lake Dillon. It offers award-winning craft beer spanning seasonal brews and year-round staples. Pug Ryan's was founded in 1975.

Dillon Dam Brewery, also in Dillon, began brewing beer in 1997. This craft brewery and restaurant offers award-winning beer and an American-style menu.

Breckenridge

Broken Compass Brewing Company is in Breckenridge, slightly off the beaten path on Airport Road. It's a locals' favorite spot with outdoor seating in the summer.

Be sure to check out the regional favorites brewed by Breckenridge Brewery and Pub. It is in downtown Breckenridge and offers a full menu as well as a variety of beers on tap.

Frisco

Outer Range Brewing Company is near Whole Foods in Frisco. It offers tasty craft brews spanning IPAs, Belgians and much more. Small-batch brews are part of the fun.
