Where to park is the persistent question for skiers and snowboarders, whether they're locals, out-of-state visitors or Weekend Warriors from the Front Range. After all, no one wants to waste time looking for parking on a powder day.

There are many parking options around Breckenridge, though much of it is paid parking during the day. Town of Breckenridge offers the following information.

  • Downtown streets (Main Street, Ridge Street, Lincoln, Ski Hill, Washington and Adams, for example) offer paid parking from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Parking on streets is free from 8 p.m. until 2 a.m. There is no parking from 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. Free parking is offered from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.
  • Wellington Lot (100 N. Main Street Alley) offers 46 parking spaces near the gondola on North Main Street. Paid parking is offered from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. during winter months. Parking is free from 3 p.m. until 2 a.m. There is no parking during winter months (November through April) from 2 to 6 a.m.
  • F Lot (350 S. Park Avenue) offers 179 parking spaces on S. Main Street. This lot is located near Peak 9, Riverwalk Center, shopping and restaurants. Paid parking is from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the wintertime. Parking is not allowed from 2 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Tiger Dredge Lot at Riverwalk Center (300 S. Park Avenue) offers 199 parking spaces. Paid parking is from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the wintertime. Parking is not allowed from 2 to 6 a.m.
