Sancho Tacos & Tequilas is a new Breckenridge restaurant. It will be closed Christmas Day.
Featuring a menu of street-style tacos, appetizers, hand crafted cocktails, and house-made salsas, Sancho offers a new take on the authentic taqueria.
Sancho Tacos & Tequilas is open seven days a week: 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Brunch is offered 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Happy hour is 3-6 and includes $5 house margaritas, $1 off draft beers and discounted appetizers.
Over 25 tequilas and mezcals are available and hand crafted cocktails such as the Cucumber Jalapeno Margarita and Smoky Peńa are muddled to order. The Bentley Margarita will blow away any Cadillac marg you’ve had before and the frozen house margarita answers the question “how much tequila can you put into a blended drink before it will no longer freeze?” Dunk a Coronita into the top for the patio drink to end all patio drinks.
Tacos classics like Al Pastor (marinated pork with sautéed pineapple), Barbacoa (chili braised beef cheek), and Chicken Tinga (shredded chicken braised in tomato chipotle sauce) are available next to contemporary fare like the Fried Chicken taco and the Duck Confit taco.
Brunch includes several burritos and tacos with variations of egg, potatoes, green chilies, and deliciously spicy habanero bacon. Try the Chilaquiles (tortilla chips in a zesty salsa verde with two fried eggs) for a traditional Mexican hangover cure. Build your own mimosas are available by the glass or by the bottle.
