The Bakers' Brewery opened its doors on March 6, 2016, and has created a real local hangout on the hill just north of I-70. It's hard not to like the laid-back atmosphere, the delicious and diverse food (made mostly from scratch) and their selection of drinks, wine and craft beers. The restaurant is a labor of love opened by some veterans of the Summit food game, and it shows in their attention to detail. It is food and drink the way they want it, in a space that flows and functions efficiently while staying fun and informal. With a homespun yet interesting menu, there's a little something for everyone: wonderful appetizers, sandwiches, salads and Pub Plates like pesto pasta, fish and chips or the Brewers' steak for very reasonable prices. To quell the thirst of the adult variety, their beer offerings are just the thing. The Brewmaster and his team have just won honors at the North American Brewers Association. They have a great thing going here on the hill and fun events almost always, including $2 Tuesdays, Trivia Wednesdays and a happy hour that starts at 2 p.m. everyday.
