Where Main Street Frisco meets scenic Lake Dillon, the Frisco Bay Marina is the destination for all kinds of family activities in summer and winter. Kick off your summer with music and fun at the Rock the Dock party. You can engage in paddle sports, power boating and high-altitude sailing and explore 25 miles of shoreline surrounded by mountains. The marina offers all types of watercraft rentals, lessons and boat storage. There’s a playground for the kiddos, a small sandy beach and a big grassy area to spread out the picnic blankets and hang out all day. After your exciting day on the water in the summer months, dine at the Island Grill and enjoy the remarkable waterside view from the top deck. There is free music on select weekend evenings in the summer and fireworks over the lake on the Fourth of July. At 9,017 feet, this mountain marina is typically open from June through September. The boating season is weather dependent. In the winter, you can book an ice fishing excursion. Dillon Reservoir is also a world-class destination for sailing, and regattas are regularly held on the reservoir.
