The summers at Copper are clear and cool and a great place to escape the heat encountered at lower elevations. The mountainside turns from white to green, and you’ll find lots of hiking choices in and near the resort and starting from the base villages. What better way to enjoy nature and the clean air? Ride the scenic chairlift up the mountain to 11,375 feet and hike among the granite boulders and forested trails. Or experience part of the Colorado Trail, complete with sweeping views and possible Rocky Mountain wildlife sightings. Hikes are self-guided and of varying lengths. You can obtain more information at Guest Services in the base of Center Village.
