For the hockey players and fans in your group, Keystone Lake is ready for action. This alpine lake spreads out over five acres and is surrounded by beautiful mountains and amenities for your wintertime enjoyment. It is Zamboni-maintained and open for pick-up hockey games and ice skating for most of the winter. There is an admission fee to get on the ice, and hockey sticks and pucks can be rented inside the Adventure Center right next to the lake. You’ll find the added convenience of free, close-by parking off of U.S. Highway 6 and a pedestrian walkway that leads right into Lakeside Village. Restaurants, shops and restrooms are all very close by, as well. During the holiday season, the lake transforms into a magical place adorned with lights and festive music. Even if you aren’t coming to play hockey, Keystone Lake is worth the visit.
