On the south side of Lake Dillon in White River National Forest are two campgrounds. One of those is the Lowry Campground, which offers 27 sites for tents, trailers and RVs. Sites are decked out with picnic tables, campfire rings and vault toilets. Twenty-two of the sites have electrical hookups and must be reserved. Camp hosts sell firewood. Access to miles of hiking trails and panoramic mountain views make this a great location to camp. The elevation at the Lowry Campground is 9,320 feet.
